Just have to share my really good news with you. You've all helped me many times in the past when I had issues with a former supervisor.
I received my Performance Review yesterday and although it was 5 months late (he's not real good at these) I received one of the best reviews I have ever received. He kept assuring me that he is really tough on reviews but had very good things to say about me, my values, my work ethic and my performance. I am so happy I could cry.
There is a substantial pay increase attached to this review.
Now I have to live up to it!
I have the greatest boss.
Oh yes, almost forgot, last week he sent me flowers "just because" at the time (silly me) I thought it was to prepare me for a not so good review. I guess they really were "just because".

Congratulation! You deserve that kind of review & pay increase. I know you will have no problem "living up" to his expectations and your review. You already do that and more every day. Enjoy your moment!
