I went to take the Word test cold turkey figuring I'm an expert user and bombed!  However, I got the sybex study guide and brushed up those little used skill sets and passed Word and Excel.  Power Point is next.  I would get one of the study guides that has an appendix and lists the areas for each test then you can study only the areas that you need.

Also remember while there are several ways of doing a task within the Office suite eg. using control key, menu or function key, Microsoft may specifically ask you to complete a question on the exam paper without using the control key functions.  In this regard, what is actually being asked of you is the Microsoft way.  In other words, they know you can do it 3 or 4 different ways, but the question being asked is, do it the way we are asking, not the way you know.

That's why I always say to people who are undertaking the MOS exams, don't think because you know how to do something you will pass the exam.  You've got to know how to do the task on the day, the Microsoft way.  It therefore requires extensive knowledge of whatever aspect of the Office suite you are undertaking.
