With spring around the corner And winter fading fast I see a stretch in daylight A warmer sun at last Daffodils are blooming Starry skies at night The temperature is rising Oh what a pleasant sight March makes way for April Don’t send those nasty showers Instead we want sunshine And pretty coloured flowers With Easter soon upon us It really lifts the mood To know an extra hour Can do a world of good And so the darker mornings Give way to longer days And we start to look forward To those long hot summer rays Title: Re: Spring Post by: Alice P. on March 03, 2010, 09:56:06 pm This makes me think of what I look forward to the most in the summer months, long days where it is still sunny at 7 or 8 pm!

Someone told me the other day that the daffodils were out. I couldn't believe it. The ground must be extremely hard with all the frost we've had. They are like a bit of happy sunshine in a flower. (ooh I had a sappy moment but true!!)
