It’s sunny on south coast shores You wouldn’t believe the puddles Outside my front door Some of us have boots on Some are still in shorts Is it time to put the heat on? No, it’s way too warm! Umbrellas at the ready Sun cream in our bags What is this mix of weather? We are facing in our lives It’s already dark each morning I have trouble don’t you see Putting make-up on at 7am Isn’t ideal for me Guessing what to wear Every single day Becomes a horrible nightmare When forecasts go astray And so my friends it’s true We must be prepared Never trust a weatherman Or anything you’ve heard Carry a coat and brolly With you at all times Keep yourself protected For these unexpected climes |
