From the Atlanta Journal Vent My boss is on vacation in the middle of Tropical Storm Debby and I have a case of schadenfreude. I'm sure we can all relate. On the storm / Debby, I have a friend currently on holiday in the States and he's posting daily updates, including screenshots of the TV weather where the rain is being forecast in inches! Good grief! I thought we were having rain (and we have!) but nothing like this, thank goodness. Sorry you guys, hope anyone suffering is ok, dry and safe. They are predicting some parts of northern Florida are going to get up to 24 inches of rain (that's 2/3 of a meter for our UK folks) during this week with the Tropical Storm that has parked itself there. They have already received more than a foot (1/3 of a meter) in some places.
