I work pretty much by myself, and don't have the opportunity to interact much in the office, so I like to visit my friends on-line.
There's always a lot going on at these boards. Some days I just lurk and read; I've learned a lot that way, especially in "Software Survival". Then I log off at the end of the day. If my bosses are gone for the day I may pop in every 30 mins or so.
