Title: My inbox is flooded Post by: bethalize on September 19, 2003, 10:10:44 am Is anyone else being beseiged by the Microsoft security pack virus? I've had forty this morning alone.
I use AVG free edition and it hasn't picked them all up, only about a quarter of them. I was wondering if the commerical virus scanners had faired any better. Anyone with Symantic, McAfee, Norton etc find that messages are slipping through? I just added the e-Mail address to my junkmail list and it seems to have taken care of the problem.
Title: Re: My inbox is flooded Post by: bethanial on September 22, 2003, 02:50:18 pm Luckily, I haven't gotten this newest virus, but that last about, what 6 weeks ago?, hubby got over 1000 e-mails from it! Apparantly, it was bouncing back adn forth between his e-mail, his uncle's work e-mail (where we initially got it from), his dad's e-mail, and several of his brother's e-mails. He was NOT a happy camper while cleaning out his in-box!
