Title: Summer Post by: gee4 on June 02, 2009, 11:10:22 am The summer is here
It's plain to see We shed our clothes And get out our feet And all because We want a great tan The pain we go through Are we all mad? The lotions and potions The oil and the cream We use to prevent sunburn Damaging our skin The kids they use sun block But the adults refuse It's a cruel price to pay For long term abuse Somehow we think A tan makes us thinner Five minutes more I think I'll skip dinner As the hot sun shines down On our tender faces It's all about beauty And the impression we make We contrast and compare To see who is brownest Like meat on a spit Or hotdogs on a barby Then reality kicks in We are sore and in pain Our nice tender skin Looks raw and inflamed Let's fake it not bake it And avoid all this fuss We're not meant to be brown We're just mean to be us (Note from Marie: Edited only to correct the apostrophes turning into coding) Edited by msmarieh on 02/06/09 03:14 PM. |
