It happened to me. I'm always at work! I had a dentist appointment Monday morning, I had reminded the boss Friday but she forgot. By 9 she had called my husband, who also forgot about the dentist appointment (go figure!). Of course my cell phone was off in the doctor's office. When I was done with the appointment (no cavities!) I checked my phone. My husband was driving my route to work looking for me. It's nice to be missed.
I now make notes on my boss's calendar when I'm going to be out of the office and triple remind the hubby where I'm going.

I did started out making notes at the top of the schedule of direct rpts on vacation, etc. She said it was too cluttered and for me to keep on my schedule. Go figure.

Well my boss didn't show all day Tue, but I eventually got a text mid morning informing me.
I always put my holidays in my boss's calendar as a reminder.
