Do any of you know how to set a meeting recurrence for the every Friday except the last one in a month? It's the same meeting the but last meeting will include additional staff and start earlier.

Unfortunately Outlook doesn't allow that type of precision. You would need to do four separate appts - one for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th. It's actually one of the few limitations where I have seen other programs work better than outlook. Alternatively, set it for every week, and then cancel the fifth fridays manually (less work I suspect).

What you could try Atlanta is to set all occurrences and then go to the one that will be different and when you amend it I believe Outlook will ask if you want to amend the entire series or just the one occurrence and you would amend just the one occurrence - worth a try.

Sorry, just realised I misread your post - I know what I said works for calendar entries but don't believe it will for meeting notifications - unless of course someone else is more expert that me as I don't use Outlook to any great extent.

I'd send separate notifications for the first Friday, 2nd Friday, etc. That''s the only way to do it. This is where Groupwise is actually better, although it's rubbish for most other things!
