Peer tip: “I actively look for things that I could be doing for my boss, to free up his time. I will help him create a task list of must do items and then offer suggestions for steps I can take to shorten the list (make phone calls, put together a draft of a letter on my own for him to finalise, process bills for payment up to a certain sterling amount, etc.). I will also ask, ‘How can I make your job easier?’ I use his answers as a springboard for coming up with my own ideas”.
