Reasons to book an Executive Charter Aircraft

What can you do to give your boss the edge and win him invaluable time when he’s travelling? Booking an executive aircraft may just be the ticket to saving him time and stress, while enabling your company to save money. Let’s investigate those benefits further.

Saving time:

Executive aircraft charter companies can avoid getting caught up in delays caused by congested air space. They use smaller airports, which are closer to city centres than their bigger, better known brothers, saving your boss time sitting in traffic jams, anxiously sweating in his smart suit and continually checking his watch.

“Executive aircraft charter operators enable you to really save your boss time,” Amanda Galanopoulos, Operations Director at London Executive Aviation stresses. “If your boss finishes his meeting well in advance, you can ask the crew to go and pick him up early – there’s no need for him to hang around waiting for his scheduled flight. Similarly, if airline strikes are creating havoc and your boss is due back for a meeting, an executive aircraft charter company can save the day by going to pick him up.”

As executive aircraft operators are not bound by published timetables, you can request itineraries which will enable your boss to fit two meetings into one day instead of two, saving money on hotels and evening meals.

Saving money

“Often if you’ve got five or six people flying together from the same company, it can be cheaper and certainly more cost effective time-wise to book an executive aircraft, rather than pay for five or six business or first class tickets with a scheduled airline,” Amanda Galanopoulos points out.

Time spent in the air, checking in, going through passport control, immigration and security is expensive. It could be better spent on bringing in the business, clinching deals, relationship building, having an hour with you to discuss your career development – or simply on rest and relaxation to re-charge those batteries or family time at home.

Saving confidentiality

“If you’ve got a group of people travelling to a meeting, they can prepare en-route in the air in the privacy of their own aircraft without worrying about being overheard,” Amanda Galanopoulos explains. It can be a great team bonding experience, as everyone relaxes in the sky (pilot and crew apart, of course!).

Saving stress

The fact your boss does not have to go through the usual processes involved with scheduled airlines reduces stress. He can simply walk from the private aircraft lounge out to the aircraft in a few minutes. Your boss knows who he’s flying with, which may make him feel safer from a security point of view. And it makes him feel special.

If your boss has admitted that he doesn’t like flying, you can quietly advise the crew and they’ll take special care of him. “We often find that people who don’t like flying on larger scheduled airlines don’t have a problem on smaller private aircraft,” Amanda Galanopoulos points out. “They feel that they have more control, which boosts their confidence.”

And if your boss is less stressed, that will help his health and impact on his overall performance and your company’s bottom line.
