Here's an Idea: People often forward voice mail messages to me and ask me to transcribe them.  I used to do it with the speaker phone but it was annoying my co-workers, besides which it was difficult for me to hear that way. So the OM ordered me a headset.  Perhaps you could suggest a headset for bossie's phone?
