Who out there is working or did you have time off?     If you do work, what is keeping you busy?  Happy New Year to all!

Susan,

I have been lucky enough in all my year's of employment, never to have worked between Christmas and New Year.

Because of the treacherous weather conditions this winter, I finished a few days early using up some holidays and flexi, resulting in 2 weeks holidays, which for me is a bit too long.

However the weather has been so bad that it's been great to relax in doors, keep warm, and catch up on some sleep.  I usually feel well rested and refreshed to start a new year, but I would much rather use my holidays in the summer when the days are longer and the weather is much warmer.

Did have some time off.  Worked some from home too.  Been busy with travel arrangements, year end clean up and preparing the schedule of meetings for next year.  Always something, but technology is great!  Worked in front of the fire in my slippers:)  Feel ready for the new year.

I think about 60% of my office is out on vacation this week. I'm bored to death. Fortunately it's a short week with 1/2 day tomorrow and closed Friday. Yeah!
