1. What is your base salary? Hourly or Exempt?
£24,500-26,600 (not sure what exempt is) plus final-salary pension. Also have facility for interest-free loan for annual travel pass and "useful, non-approved training" (ie where they cannot afford to fund it but see the benefit of you undertaking the training).
2. How many hours do you generally work for overtime and do you get paid for this?
5ish hours per week - not paid, but flexi system in operation. Hours worked after 7pm can be accrued and taken as TOIL.
3. Do you feel that you are overworked? Or, that your office is understaffed?
Always overworked - part of the "juggling priorities" culture we work in. Not practically understaffed, but compared to equivalent offices in my organisation we would appear to be (perhaps we just work smarter?).
4. Do you work for a small company or for a large company?
Large - 20,000 staff, 7,000 within my department - all staff based within approx 20 miles of city centre.
5. How many people do you support?
one - strategic director
6. Are you provided w/ a cell phone or laptop?
Neither - have use of laptop (shared within office) for minuting meetings, etc. Have no need for mobility due to nature of work.
