I work in a manfacturing facilities with 3 shifts. Several people including myself have left the "f" out of shift. I put the word in my dictionary so it would flag me if I had a typo. However, during a review of a draft business plan presentation with the entire staff, the factory manager was reading outloud part of his presentation and noted that he was "shifting the priorities" instead of "shi*&*&ing" the priorities. I was very, very embarrassed.
