When it gets really out of hand, I just get up and shut the door myself.  There are numerous people in this department who require someone else's coming by to shut the door when they get loud.  You'd think having it happen once would impress upon the person that he/she is disturbing others, but no.  Bossie is worse for me because he's right across from me.
