My little experience with monster.com is that you are going to get goobs of hits.  Is there any way your system can automatically reply that the email has been received and is being reviewed?    If not, then I would recommend keeping a draft ready to paste in email address of sender and forward as soon as possible.  It is so irritating to send a resume and then never hearing back from the recipient.



"We appreciate your interest in XYZ Co.  The resumes will be reviewed and those applicants whose experience best meets our requirements will be contacted for interviews by 00/00/00...."  Anything that will let the person know what timeframe you are looking at.  



After a candidate has been selected, you might want to respond to the finalists.  Depending on the number of resumes you receive might determine the responses.
