OK a little late here but these I could not resist sharing in the days after Christmas. Enjoy!
What do snowmen eat for breakfast? Snowflakes!
What do you get if you deep fry Santa Claus? Crisp Cringle.
Did you hear that one of Santa's reindeer now works for Proctor and Gambel? Its true.... Comet cleans sinks!
What did Adam say on the day before Christmas? It's Christmas, Eve.
What do you call people who are afraid of Santa? Claustrophobic!
What is special about the Christmas alphabet? It has NO EL.
What do elves learn in school? The Elf-abet!
If athletes get athletes foot, what do astronauts get? Missile-toe!
Why are Christmas trees like people who can't knit? They both drop their needles!
What do you call a reindeer wearing ear muffs? Anything you want. He can't hear you!

Absolutley Donna, come here and vent anytime. It's very unsettling not knowing whats gonna happen with this change. Hang in there and definetly have a Plan B ready just in case things don't work out.

I personally don't see why this case has been given the attention that it has been. Yes I understand the severity of the crime and that an unborn child and mother were killed, but it's a court case that has been given way too much media attention in my opinion.
Wether or not the death penalty is appropriate, I am having the same difficulties as you Spitfire. I just don't know if I could vote for the death penalty no matter how bad the case is. I would say let him stay alive and suffer for his crimes, but then again, if he does that the state of california and its residents will pay for him to stay behind bars, and I don't know if that is necessarily fair either, especially considering the crime.

Well for me, I've done both above and beyond and not so much above and beyond and they've both gone over very well. What do you give someone that has everything and worse, what he needs he either gets himself or gets as a gift from his family.
So I got him some of his favorite things, a big plastic jug of tootise rolls as I know they are his favorites and a Buffalo Bills calendar for his office wall. That's pretty much it for him. Then I got his wife a Spa packet for under 25.00 from bath and beauty works shops. Oh they smell so good! I went with a cocoa butter scent so it's not too overpowering.
I've done candle arrangement items before, gift certificate books, dining and entertainment books, restaurant gift certificates, etc. etc. so thought this might be something a bit different.
Good luck and happy shopping.

Juspeachy, I have the same problem as you and have found the solution to use the UK site temporarily until the problem is fixed. Not sure what the issue is, but we've brought the problem to the attention of the "powers that be." Hopefully it will be solved soon. Just so you know your not alone. Will keep you posted.

Twas a very good Thanksgiving indeed. Spent it at my folks house. I was able to go out a bit early and help prepare some of the meal at least. My mom had eye surgery a few weeks ago and wanted to make sure she didn't overdo it. Of course she always tries to but, seems it went well.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.

I did some stress relief over the weekend and got over 130! Guess that was a good game. Haven't had time to play since. I'll have to check it out in the evening after chores, if I'm still awake.

I LOVED it ! I don't like cats, and was such fun. I did lousy the first time, score 37. The second time was better. My friend down the hall scored a 94 the first time through. Thanks for a much needed break!

Mine was recently changed from Secretary to Administrative Assistant/Finance. Which means I'm "officially" administrative assistant but to the Finance Department here at this office. There are other Administrative Assistants here that used to be called Secretary and/or Clerk, but they do other more specialized work in Operations or Contract Administration. Mine is strictly Finance and reporting directly to the CFO. I generally keep him organized and do travel for the finance department, so that keeps me fairly busy. Lots of different things going on all the time.
