It sounds like you are in a difficult position.  But, have you stopped and asked yourself what convinced you to take the position in the first place?  There must have been something that motivated you.  I have days that I wish I could just drop everything and walk out but then I just take a deep breath, maybe take a small break and get something to drink and then remind myself why I like doing what I do.  And in my position which I have the title of Administrative Assistant, there are other women who have higher degrees or more experience than I but we all have the same title.  But that doesn't mean that we all do the same tasks, your job is what you make of it.

I just took a certfication course and one of the topics was the correct usage of words.  "Insure" would be used if you were referring to a life insurance policy while "ensure" would be to make certain of.

I received a raise last September during my annual review and it was the largest I've ever received.  Also, this year we were given a budget to reach and if we do, we'll receive 12% of our annual salary as our year-end bonus.

At my company, we get 2 weeks during our first year if you start before June of that year, after June only one.  Then after you've been here for 5 years, you get 3 weeks.  I am more than halfway there, I've been here 3 years.  Also, we accumulate .67 sick days every month and we can accumulate this up to 60 days.  These sick days can be used for disability or maternity leave because they don't provide a paid maternity leave, you have to use your vacation/sick days

I pack my lunch along with my husband's.  About once a week though we grab some fast food.  I work near him so we usually have lunch together.
