Hi All,
I received a telephone call from a recruiter regarding a Senior Admin Position. I called her then she called me back. She told me the week of Mrch 22nd, that I would be contacted by another recruiter, when I clall her back two days later, she then said she would give me the interview. We decided that I email her after Jury Duty, which I did. My jury duty was only one day, Monday, March 29th. I emailed her and left her a voicemail. No response. That was last Wednesday. I called her on Thursday, she picked up the phone, without saying hello " Nichelle I will call you back". I have not received any contact and believe that she will not give me a telephone interview.
The kicker is, that I have applied for another position and when I looked at my status on line, it said "To Be Screened for position" and I have not received any contact for that posiion. Well. this is the same recruiter for the Senior Admin Position. What should I do? I wanted to go over her head, but she seems to be a senior recruiter.

The most in one year, maybe I have worked at my desk twice. I just get up from my desk and say, "I'm out to lunch"
You need to get into a pattern of taking lunch. The same way you created the habit, it can also be broken.
If you can not take a lunch hour everyday, then take lunch three times per week; but do it. You will feel better, because for one hour your thought process is not on the work.

I am applying for a Executive Assistant Position with the company I have been an Admin for two years. It would assist the VP of Corporate Engineering/ Facilities and Construction. This is a newly created position, which means that there is no one in the department whom I can ask re: the character of this VP. What are some good questions to ask to ascertain his management style / personality?
