I am in Baltimore, less than an hour up I-95 from where all this is happening. I drove within a mile of that school last Sunday, the day before the 13-year-old boy was shot. I have a 13-year-old boy. DD2's field trip was cancelled this week. All the schools are cancelling all outdoor activities (DD1's Homecoming Game was to be tonight).
I am trying to remain calm, and keeping the dks calm. I just hope the crazy person slips up sometime soon so they can catch him!
I feel so helpless - it's not something you can protect yourself against except if you stay inside your home, it appears!
