I need my coffee and bowl of oatmeal, and a check on the "news" but I get in 15-20 minutes before my official start time to attend to that.  I find an empty cube or conference room and just have that quiet time to myself.

Last thing I do on a Friday is make sure my to-do list is up to date for Monday and tidy up my desk, so it's not too difficult to get rolling once Monday starts.  Of course, a single voice- or e-mail on a Monday can shred that plan in 15 seconds!
