Alcohol Abuse Lecture

An elderly man is stopped by the police around 1 a. m. and is asked where he is going at this time of night.

The man replies, "I am going to a lecture about alcohol abuse and the effects it has on the human body."

The officer then asks, "Really? Who is giving that lecture at this time of night?"

The man replies, "That would be my wife."

Made me larff (although not as funny as one senior partner accidentally implying that another senior partner liked to fondle himself - I know, not pc, but SP1 did go bright red when he realised exactly what he had said! I, of course, could do nothing but laugh for about 5 minutes afterwards!)

I think I will leave that up to your imagination, Jackie.   

Mind you, I am sure there are plenty of people who have similar/diverse stories of verbal/physical faux pas that they or their bosses and colleagues have committed in the office/public!  We should gather a few of those up for posterity (no pun intended!)

My boss was trying to remember a client by the name of Mr. Cox and asked us for information on that Dick guy.  We of course didn't know who he meant but finally figured it out.  His face was quite red after also.
