Well, we all got to see our new offices (or areas) this week.  Oh, they're gorgeous!  They renovated a row of old "row homes" and they really did a first class job.  But the best part is that being in old houses, they're a bit of a rabbit warren, which is good for me becuase not I'm not in anyone's direct line of sight.  It's down a hall, up two steps, down a ramp, etc. to get to my little alcove.  Which means it might be more likely for me to be able to work in PEACE on budget stuff without being bothered with every little "crisis" that comes down the pike.  You know, the people who see me hunched over my desk with pages and pages of numbers and my calculator and my magnifying ruler and on the phone, but come right up to me and start squawking that we're out of napkins in the breakroom or something else equally earth-shattering.

Looking forward to my little piece of heaven....

How cool!  Let's face it, most offices are nothing but ugly cubeville ghettos.  I would love to work in a space like yours.

Enjoy!

Didya get the new furniture you requested?  I remember a post ages ago (was it on OC??) where you said that you were going to have to use the old tacky furniture in the new space.
