Thank you letters
«
on:

I had a job interview on Tuesday afternoon. Would it be appropriate to send my thank you letter via email? The decision will be made fairly quickly and I want to make sure all 3 people I saw on Tuesday get my thank you BEFORE a decision is made.
When I interviewed within my own company, I sent my thank yous via email.
Thoughts?

I don't see that being a problem, as long as they gave you their email account. Heck Resumes are being sent via email why not thank you letters. Just keep it standard professional as if you were sending it snail mail.

Definitely send your thank you by e-Mail, especially if the decision is being made quickly.
As for typos, we once received a four page resume (yes, not exactly concise) and throughout the resume the applicant had typed "coarse" instead of "course". Now, I understand that spell-check won't pick that up but for goodness sakes, get someone to proof read your resume!
