I tend to keep my suits in the basic power colors -- black or navy blue. Really love the penstripe suits, as they definitely shout "power" to me, but that's just MPO. Regular work clothes are slacks in blacks, browns and navy, with a few whitesor creams for a change in summer. Skirts are more prints, so have more colors, but still tend toward the darker colors. My tops are my color, and I love the jewel tones -- true blues, reds, greens. I keep browns, blacks and creams to mix and match well with everything, but when I wear color, you'll rarely see it a muted or baby shade.

I did just buy a pants suit which is basic black pants, a black shell with pink edging and a pink overshirt (worn like a jacket) to go with it, but even it's not a "baby" pink and is more vibrant.
