Laura, try again.  I did it and it worked.  I inverted by last 4 (9042 became 0942) to test it and it came up with my (new) #.  It might matter if you hit total between each step, as your calculator might not respond well otherwise, or at least I noticed a problem on mine if I didn't total at each step.

Kinda cool....
