I help from my Seattle admin friends!  I know nothing about Seattle (except what I've seen on Frasier) and I need to find a hotel thats close to the ferry terminal (ferry to Bainbridge Island).  Bossie will be staying there for one night only, so it doesn't have to be anything really fancy (he'll arrive there late Friday and leave early Saturday).  Can anyone suggest anything?

P.S. - I am definitely writting a memo to our travel agent telling him he is not allowed to be out sick EVER again!

Claudia,

Claudia, I have a source in Seattle.  What's your check in date? One night only? and Room type? Double? single?

He will check in on Friday the 9th and check out the morning of the 10th - one night only.  Single room is all he needs.

In advance, thank you, thank you, thank you!

There's always the famous Edgewater Inn (made most famous by the Fab 4's stay there during which they fished off of the balcony!) It's certainly close to the ferries. Link: http://www.seattle-downtown.com/edgewater/
Also the West Coast Grand Hotel on 5th Avenue is a more centralized location but still close to ferries. http://www.ticketswest.com/whc/hotels/showhotel.asp?xval=NONE&ID=51

But you say bossie doesn't need anything fancy. The Ramada on 5th Ave. is pretty good, too. A friend of mine stayed there once; he had a pretty nice room. Here's a City Search review. http://seattle.citysearch.com/profile/10796037/

Good luck and tell bossie to stay healthy!

Thank you for the suggestions.  Our travel agent returned yesterday and found bossie a suitable hotel.  I'll keep the hotels you suggested in mind for future travel.

Thanks again!
