Gee, did bossie put his appointment in his diary?  If not, then very naughty.

Mind you, having said that, in numerous jobs I have had I have misplaced colleagues and bosses alike.  I call it business as usual (the beggers disappear without telling me IF they are coming back, never mind where they are going!).
