We all have our own strengths and weakness. What would you say is your best skill that makes you excel in the job you are in?

I have many skills Susan but what makes me excel most is, I get things done in a timely manner.
I've been with my company 2 years and in my current role 1 year. It's nice to know I am appreciated by my team. They rely on me and in doing a good job, they trust me over and over again.
I get on with my job, do it with a smile, I'm pleasant and approachable and I think that's what makes it all work. I don't dither, I don't put things off and I certainly don't take any prisoners. My team know where they are with me and know I am efficient in what I do.
Many times I have gone the extra mile for people and it's appreciated and remembered.

This is harder then I thought to think of. One skill that I am the best at? Communications, talking to people on the p phone, in the office, talking with my boss. I really try to make a point to listen to what people say, not what I think they are saying or want them to say. It helps when relaying information to my boss.

My boss has told me on several occasions that I am the glue that holds the office together. I think the skill that is necessary is one we all have if we choose to use it - empathy. I try to always see both sides of the picture and this is becoming more and more important dealing with very young staff up to mature workers on the cusp of retirement (me).
I work hard to find the common denominator with each person in the department and try to build on it and develop a good working relationship. Our last employee survey results were the highest in the organization in terms of employee satisfaction and overall morale - no small feat as we have approx. 300 employees. Decent pay, good benefits, etc. all matter but if employees are disconnected one from the other - nothing works well!

My #1 skill is my written communication. Verbal interactions are my weakness, but I am able to stay calm when others are freaking out. I'm also pretty flexible and adaptable - I can learn anything fast.
