I mostly wear black to the office - skirts or trousers with jacket and not necessarily suits per se. Tops tend to be any colour - it's red today (with matching shoes!) - but they tend to be bright to lift the black. Or I will wear a black jacket and black top, with a brighter coloured skirt.
Doesn't really matter what time of the year it is as both car and office are warm and I don't get out in the weather much! Although, thinking on it, in summer I will more usually wear a dress (maybe patterned or plain) with a neutral jacket.
