What did you guys make of it? Was it a genuine outburst or purely a publicity stunt ... whatever it was, it was not necessary. Adam (my boyf) thought it was great though ... calling all his friends asking them if they'd seen it ... << sigh >> MEN! Amanda

I think it was a little bit of both. They probably planned a little bit of it but then Tyson probably took it too far. Boxing is becoming as bad as wrestling these days whereas it's all fake and acting.

I still can't believe that the Home Secretary let Tyson in the country.
It just shows that the rich are different.

I've got mixed emotions when it comes to Tyson. I love boxing and he's a good boxer when he plays fair, but when he doesn't, I get mad that I spent the $49.50 to watch the fight. I'm just glad he's been on regular TV the last few times.
I agree that the stunt was probably mixed. Tyson really has nothing to fear because Lenox has a glass jaw, and MT can chop him out quick if he lands just the right punch. There has been a lot of anamosity between the two and I think that MT was just letting off a little steam. Was it right? No, but that's business.

Mike Tyson is a big strong rich jerk who needs to beat up girls to feel powerful! Can't imagine wanting to know much more about him than that, unless things ever change. I would pay $49.50 for *that* show.

That press conference had "Publicity Stunt" written all over it. I wouldn't pay 49 cents to see that fight. WhiteSatin

After I saw a picture of a boxer's brain vs a regular brain in my abnormal psychology textbook many years ago, I decided then and there that boxing is totally barbaric and a waste of human beings. I don't watch the matches or the publicity stunts - a waste of money and time.
BTW the boxer's brain was a red pile of mush from repeated concussions and injuries compared to the pale pink, wrinkley regular brain.

My humble opinion is that Tyson has aspirations of joining the WWF and so he's building up his credentials.
