If you could have a magic wand waved over you and poof you know  Huh??  better.  What would it be.  What do you wish you knew or could do better.

I wish I could be as good at excel as I used to be.  For many years I did macro's, databases, connected this with that and calculated it all.  But for the past 5 years I have only used basic speadsheets and calculations.

Powerpoint, I have had a few classes but never use it, so you know what happens when you don't use something.

Adobe Indesign and Adobe Photoshop - definitely.  I work on a daily basis with Indesign and have taken two 8-hour classes, but there is SO much to learn about this program.

That's a toughie - either databases or spreadsheets. Probably databases. If I knew more I think I would use Access a lot, but I don't know enough to begin.

Hi Donna

I started using Access for my personal Christmas card list.  It doesn't matter how many folk you add/change on the list, the label report (once set up) is dynamic and alters with your database.  It also means that instead of having a handwritten list of names you can print the labels then do your cards, and as the labels disappear, you know exactly who you still have to write (or in my case, make!) cards for!!!  Follow the wizards, they are really quite helpful.

I would love to be able to use Adobe Photoshop - my son uses it all the time for his A level Art and designing people's avatars as he is a forum administrator for several sites.  It really irks me that he does all these wonderful things.  He set me up on my space and put all sorts of backgrounds on it.
I don't really know how to use Publisher either - I design all sorts of posters for social events at work but only ever use Word.

yc1:

Hewlett Packard offers a number of free on-line courses, and one of them is Adobe Photoshop.

Check them out at:  http://h30187.www3.hp.com/
