I agree 100% with Ozbound. This is so stupid. I wish people would lighten up a little bit about stuff like this. Who cares if someone from another country sings another country's anthem? So very narrow minded and short sighted. We're all human beings and we shouldn't be told "no" or feel like we should have barriers placed in front of us because of something so trivial. Really.
Now, if I recall correctly, we Americans took the tune to "God Save the King" (UK's national anthem) and put our own lyrics to it... "My Country Tis of Thee" -- it's a nice song so, what's wrong with that?
Can't we all just sing a song and get along? (...hey...Cool! ...I made a rhyme!)
