From what I and many of my fellow DDers have seen on these boards, you're smart, talented, tough, resourceful and professional. You bring a helluva lot to the table, woman! So, at the risk of sounding rather Pollyanna-ish...."the worst" could be the best thing to happen to you.
If it's a change in role (with more work for no more pay, I'm sure!) maybe it's something you can live with while you're looking for something else. If you're out the door (which is what I assume you mean by "the worst"), well, hey, many of us have been there and you survive somehow.
Hang in there -- you know we're here. I'm sending positive thoughts your way.
