I am trying to make a checklist for each person's cubicle/office for safety. Here is my list, can anyone add anything? This isn't a company wide official list, but our own internal department check list. We have shelves and they are attached to the wall, this is more for each person to just go through once a month and make sure we are keeping on track.
Frayed or loose rugs or warped chair mats Over utilized outlets (no daisy chains) Keep file cabinets closed Plants or objects that are too high and can fall in an earthquake Hazardous materials clearly marked (this could include cleaning products, toners) No broken electrical cords Fire Extinguishers are not out of date There is at least 3 feet clearance in all walk ways All emergency exits are clear (no furniture or boxes in front) Emergency exit routes are clearly posted First Aid Kit Well Stocked
I feel like I am forgetting something obvious.

Computer cords or other electrical cords bundled) trip hazard or fire hazard if a snake nest behind a desk or cube. First aid kit not stocked with pills - legal issues with dispensing medication If you have an elevator is it current on it's inspection
Have your local fire department come through with an inspection - just be ready if they find issues! Lastly if food stuffs are kept for visitors or staff are they expired?
