Goodness yes, the 8 track! My mum had one in her car - she used to play Diana Ross and the Supremes over and over again. Did you find that the tapes, if played too much, used to corrupt and spew out into the system you were playing them on and you then had to spend what seemed like an eternity retrieving them. Yards and yards (whoops sorry I should say metres and metres) of tape everywhere!
