For personal use I try to get more recycled stuff. And Jackie, I just bought some notebooks that are recycled paper and look as good as the regular stuff, if not better. The ones I bought are of a heavier weight even than regular notebook paper and works better for me.
For the office, it's cost driven no matter what. Part of the cost factor is the reliability part because face it, if it malfunctions or jams or whatnot, then it really isn't saving any money and is causing more stress and work for everyone. Luckily, recycled items seem to be getting more reliable and more cost effective, but not always. Gotta be kind of picky still.
