I'm with the ones who feel it wouldn't be worth it. One of the great things about my job is that when I leave here, work doesn't touch me until I walk back in the door the next morning. My private life is much too important to me. For a while the switchboard had my home number and would call me at home for any stupid little thing that came up. Until I got mad and told them that I wasn't paid to be on call and to remove my name and number from their files. The operator was shocked

. But I insisted and they complied. I wonder who they bother now if they can't find a key (to a room that I don't have a key for either!), if a delivery comes before the start of the workday and they don't know what to do with it (ah, how about leaving it at the front desk until the recipient comes in and can pick it up), etc, etc.
Nope it sounds glamorous, and I'm sure the money is great. But, you know, all I really need is enough to live comfortably on. I don't need mansions and exotics trips and fabulous clothes. I'm happy that my salary is enough to cover my bills and content as is. Of course, I wouldn't mind making a little bit more than I am now
