Is today International Women's Day? One of the guys in my office has just logged on to Google and noticed something interesting. It's a pity that there isn't more publicity on this .......

I think something on this was briefly mentioned in the Grauniad yesterday in their office section plus another bit in G2 but cannot remember any details.

Interesting that unlike other celebratory days--including minor ones like St. Patrick's Day--when you click the Google logo, it takes you to a page of links to info on that day.
However, if you Google International Women's Day, you'll see that yes, it is today.
