What search engines do you use, and for what purpose?

I mostly use Google, in fact I probably just always "google" it when job hunting, research prior to interviews, cinema listings etc or general info for whatever I am looking for.

Google for me too. I also particularly like the fact they pay homage to whatever's happening in the world. I liked the 'big bang' the other day though I missed what they did for their own birthday - did anyone see it? Jackie, Peer Moderator www.iqps.org

More often than not, Google. I have it set as my home page. If I can't find what I what with them, I'll try HotBot (though its not as good as it used to be) or Ask.com. Michelle

I use Google for just about everything now. I love the way it's become a verb ; "to google" :-) Whatever is the English language coming to?!

I guess I'll be the lone stand-out here.
We use Internet Explorer as our browser, and I usually just use that for searching. Every now and then - like if I am searching using a telephone number - I'll use Google, but that is very rare.

Since my home page is Yahoo, I use Yahoo's search engine. I can usually find anything I want.
