Something I have done is to purchase the MOUS Certification books.  Then when I am really slow, I go through some of the lessons on the book.  This has a lot of benefits.  I am increasing my skills, look really busy working away on my computer and they are easily started and put away.  Also the hours seem to fly by rather than drag.
