OK You probably already know this, but... I was thinking of better ways to remind myself to do things (better than writing it on a notepad that ends up getting buried on my desk!) I remembered a program I had a long time ago in a job far, far away that puts a "sticky note" on your computer desktop. Oh, how I missed that program! Then I discovered that you can drag the "notes" from Outlook onto your desktop! Ta-Dah! My desktop will from now on be covered in virtual Post-Its...

Neat! On our Macs we have something similar called Stickies. I think I'm going to use them a lot more often --- Bridget Wife to Eduardo (12/4/99), Mommy to Aaron (10/26/01)

This is cool! I didn't know you can do that! Just select new note in Outlook, type in the message, then drag it out onto the desktop.
Thanks for the tip!

Oz,
No, I had no idea you could do that. I just love it!! Used those Mac stickies years ago and I've missed them terribly; now I can accomplish the same thing, thanks to you.
BTW, in that other post I meant to say "wonderful fish place." (I still remember the fish and chips we had when we visited you in Tacoma.) I think that was the message I wrote at 3am, so I'll blame it on that. Just proves that you are not the only one who makes mistakes.
Thanks again for the Outlook tip.
