Jahdra:LIVE FALCONS!   Oh my goodness! You deserve an  award for getting through that interview. And I thought interviewing with attorneys was nerve racking! Oh course falcons and attorneys have a lot in common--just kidding. (We know every bad lawyer joke that's out there!) Too bad I can't keep my attorneys on a leash twenty feet away from my desk. HMMMMMM. Now there's an idea.

Oddest question by far was simply:

Ice Cream or Cookies?

I answered cookies right off the bat. She seemed impressed that I did not miss a beat in answering her, and said I was the only one to vote cookies.

Guess I was wrong, because they never called me back!

Went into a interview for a Temp Sec position (for a Bank President).  His ONLY question was "How soon can you start?"  That was at 4:30 p.m. on a rainy (cats and dogs)Wednesday.

My reply was "Point me to a chair and I'm yours."  I stayed until 6:30 p.m. that day.  I stayed until my temp status ran out (his Sec came back from maternity leave) and then he asked me to take on the Bank VP & the Branch Manager.  Stayed there until I moved out of town 14 months later.

It was the only time I've ever been a "minority".  Interesting experience.

Well I should have known when I showed up for the interview and was met at the door by a guy in a suit riding a scooter (yes, riding a scooter around the office) and wielding a nerf gun that it would be interesting.  They asked the usual questions, then "What is the one toy you would like to have on your desk?" "Mr Potato Head" was my answer, and it turned out that it was one of their 'mascot' toys!  Got the job, and although I was later laid off due to company financing (it was a start-up company) I had a blast there, and yes, my desk was covered with toys!

CoolBossGirlChick,

Oh my!  I love toys!  My DH always tells me that I should growup.  I wish they were still around so I could be there.

I love Legos!!

My oddest question:

"Since you're coming from a profit organization how does it make you feel to work for a non-profit organization?"

Uh it's all the same?  That place was a nightmare and I knew it right when I walked into the door!
