My thoughts are going out to you.  I've been in a similar position I was really ill, couldn't work because of it.  I managed to gett a temping job and was then told I wasn't needed after 3 weeks - 2 weeks before Christmas.

I kept looking and managed to get a job to start on 2 January.  

Keep trying - don't give up!!
