I pay most of my bills on-line. However, the way my bank works it the funds are taken out on the day I set up the transaction to take place, but may take a couple days to a week to reach the payee (in the case of my electric bill, it's actually faster to send it by snail mail!) Actually, I think this new schedule will enable me to pay more of my bills online though due to having money coming in more often.
