You didn't say what you did, PA/Office Manager??  Maybe you should consider moving into a higher role eg. management - that's if you're not already there.

I'm not always busy but doing things like posting or reading the forums here can help.  The summer can be a time to catch up on other things eg. online training, archiving old documents, emails etc.
