I would look at your manager's goals. I would also find out if there are any committees you can join, for example does your company have a charity fund. See if you can volunteer for that committee. The contacts you make from that committee may help you to get the above and beyond. Are there other admins in your company, volunteer to teach lunch time learning, or start an admin pool for cross training (companies love cross training!) On that note find a way to cross train for another position.
