I made it my New Year Resolution to always leave the office for half an hour at lunchtime.  That little break makes all the difference and stops me from feeling resentful when the phone is ringing or people come into the office wanting things whilst I am eating my lunch.    I usually go to the hospital dining room with a colleague and enjoy people watching and chatting.  Sometimes I take my own lunch or buy a meal from the dining room but it is expensive.
